Pinguy OS

The other day I stumbled upon a really good Linux optimization package of Ubuntu 11 – the nice thing about this is the pre-setup of many media and office tools just to name a few.

If you’re new to Linux or like me, just hate spending hours trying to get things to work after an install, head over to Pinguy OS and check them out.  This will make a great fresh install or work off of a live CD.

Machine Screws Drill/Tap Info Update to version 1.3.6

Last night I pushed out an update for the Machine Screws Drill/Tap Info app (now version 1.3.6).   The update added a user requested size of 8-40 UNS.  I also corrected a couple of errors I found in the M2, M5, and M24 Screw sizes.

I know it is sounding like a broken record, I’m running a lot behind on the 2.0 update (AOD had a lot to do with it) ; but, I look to have something eventually (please read as I’ve not given up), please stay tuned …..

Thank you again!
~Jim

PS: How did you think I found the errors?  Yup, getting resource files and data together 🙂
