Machine Screws Drill/Tap Info Version 1.4.6a/1.4.7 Updates

Machine Screws Drill/Tap Info Version 1.4.7 released tonight – so check your market for an update in your apps. There are a few minor improvements:

-Added Splash screen and start up sound
-Fixed a minor detail on the Drill Chart
it incorrectly referred to #6-48 as #6-38
-Micro English and Metric screws were added
-Many less standard Metric screws were added
[EDIT] – fixed an incorrect value for M15x1.25 – be sure to use 1.4.6a update

-Added settings for splash screen/sound
-Added settings to confirm exit or not
-Updated share dialog to share app via messaging services

The app now has 82 English screw sizes and 119 Metric screws sizes! Wow!

I’ve noticed and have tried to address the German translation concerns.
This version tries again to improve up the German localization.
With that said, if you know German and can help & I’ll donate some $$$ to you.
There are about 20 or so phrases in the app so it shouldn’t take more than 30 minutes to help me out.  Email me at the contact link above and we can maybe make this work.
PS: same goes for Spanish & any languages you may like to have added too!

Thank you for your support!

Where did the soundboards go?

All of the JimsJump soundboards have been removed from this site and Android Market.

One in particular (the most popular) was decommissioned by external request.  As a mode of self preservation, the remaining soundboards were also removed voluntarily.

As always, thank you for the support, comments, and positive feedback.

Machine Screws Drill/Tap Info Update to version 1.3.6

Last night I pushed out an update for the Machine Screws Drill/Tap Info app (now version 1.3.6).   The update added a user requested size of 8-40 UNS.  I also corrected a couple of errors I found in the M2, M5, and M24 Screw sizes.

I know it is sounding like a broken record, I’m running a lot behind on the 2.0 update (AOD had a lot to do with it) ; but, I look to have something eventually (please read as I’ve not given up), please stay tuned …..

Thank you again!

PS: How did you think I found the errors?  Yup, getting resource files and data together 🙂
